Misissippi River bridge at Lansing is temporarily closed

If you're heading to Western Wisconsin Tuesday by way of Lansing, you'll have to take a different route.

WKBT Channel 8 in La Crosse says Mississippi River flooding has closed a smaller bridge over the Mississipi River between Lansing and De Soto, which has led to the closing of the Black Hawk Bridge at Lansing.  The Black Hawk Bridge itself has not been affected by the closing, but traffic between Iowa and Wisconsin has been halted until the flodwaters recede.
