Sculptures are going on display at Luther

Posted: Mon, May 29, 2017 8:27 AM

17 bronze sculptures by Amy Goldman are going on display at Luther College.

The sculptures are of heirloom plant varieties and were made using the lost wax casting process.  Each individual sculpture is a replica of a plant grown in her own garden.  Her artwork is made to celebrate the vast array of diversity found in plants not only in her personal garden, but around the world.

The display is located outside the Wigley-Fleming Gallery in Center for the Arts on the Luther campus. The display is open to the public with no charge for admission.
