Car runs off road, Decorah Fire Department rescues woman from car

Decorah Police and the Decorah Fire Department were called to Whitetail Road Thursday morning when a woman lost control of her car and went into a ditch.  The woman was not injured--but because of the angle the car was at, she could not get out.

That's where the Decorah Fire Department came in.  First they put a chain on the car to make sure it wouldn't slide off any further.  Then they jacked up part of the car until they were able to open the door of the car and free the woman.
