Decorah man arrested in Minnesota, taken back to Decorah

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says 24-year-old Chance Beard of Decorah is now in custody at the Winneshiek County Jail.

Beard was arrested in Rochester over the weekend on a warrant for probation violation.  Monday afternoon he was picked up from the Olmsted County Jail in Rochester and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.  In March Beard was arrested for Second Offense Operating While Intoxicated after being stopped on Manawa Trail Road.
