Winneshiek Medical Center taking registrations for summer babysitter trainings

Winneshiek Medical Center has scheduled babysitter training sessions for this summer on June 12th, June 23rd and July 21st.
 
Babysitter training is a one-day class, and is held from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on the lower level of Winneshiek Medical Center.  Class cost is $40 per person, which includes all materials for the day, lunch and a snack.
 
This course is appropriate for youth ages 11 years and older, and prepares students to face the challenge of babysitting.  At the Winneshiek Medical Center babysitter training, students learn the basics of babysitting, basic child care and first aid from trained instructors, first-responders/paramedics and law enforcement.
 
Students may register for the class by calling the WMC Volunteer Services department at 563-387-3036. Spots in the class are limited and pre-registration is required.
