Winneshiek County Veterans Affairs Office is warning of a scam targeting veterans

Winneshiek County Veterans Affairs is announcing that an unknown party has set up a phone line similar to the Veterans Choice Program (VCP) phone line to scam Veterans who dial the wrong number.

They are stressing that the correct phone number for the Veteran's Choice Program is 1-866-606-8198.

The scammers eventually ask for a credit card number--DO NOT give out your credit card number!
