Traffic accident leads to a citation

Decorah Police Department responded to a traffic accident on Washington Street on Monday.

Police said 65-year old Deborah Huebsch of Harmony  was pulling out of a business driveway on the west side of Washington Street when she struck 37-year old Larissa McCann of Decorah's vehicle. McCann was traveling southbound on Washington Street.

Huebsch was charged with failure to yield right of way when entering the roadway. McCann had $2,000 damage to her vehicle and Huebsch's vehicle had $200 damage.
