Manager has been hired for the new Decorah Fairfield Inn & Suites

Jennifer Freitag of Sumner has been hired as the General Manager of the new Fairfield Inn and Suites in Decorah.

According to her LinkedIn profile, she has previous experience as a general manager at Candlewood Suites in Cedar Falls, Sleep Inn and Suites in North Liberty, Country Inn and Suites in Independence and Super 8 in Decorah.

The new hotel will open this fall, but Freitag is already working on controlling costs, business development and hotel sales. 

Freitag and her husband own and operate a farrow-to-finish hog operation near Sumner.  Her parents live in the Decorah area.
