House has been moved to its new location

The house which used to be next door to St. Benedict's Church in Decorah is now sitting on a trailer on the property that will be its new home--four miles south of Decorah off Highway 52.

Aylsworth Trucking has successfully negotiated the two-day move, including taking the house up Quarry Hill Road.  Thursday's move was along Highway 52 to south of Decorah, which was without many of the electrical power line issues that slowed progress on Wednesday.

Contractors are finishing the foundation for the home on the property before the building will be placed on site.
