Decorah Library is looking for summer reading mentors

Decorah Public Library is looking for volunteers to be summer reading mentors.

The "Book Buddies" program will team students in kindergarten through second grade with high school students and RSVP volunteers for one-on-one shared reading experiences.

Book Buddies will meet on Tuesdays from 1:30 p.m.--2:15 p.m. at the library. 

A kick-off celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 6th.  The program will run through Tuesday, July 25th.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis with a deadline of May 24th.
