Decorah Police make an arrest, respond to traffic accident

An Ossian man was arrested by Decorah Police around 2:00 Saturday morning.

Officers stopped 28-year-old Kevin Bohlin of Ossian on Old Stage Road. Upon investigation, Bohlin was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was charged with OWI First Offense and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.

Around 12:30 Sunday morning, Decorah Police were called to Highway 9 after 38-year-old Amy Rankin of Castalia hit a deer. She was not injured, but her SUV suffered $5,000 in damages.
