"Mens Journal" names two Decorah beers as Iowa's best beers

Recognition keeps coming in for Decorah's local breweries.

"Mens Journal" has just posted an article called "The 101 Best Beers in America, naming the top beer and runner-up beer in each state.  The magazine picked Toppling Goliath and Pulpit Rock Brewing as having the two top beers in Iowa.

"Mens Journal" said "King Sue" by Toppling Goliath was the best beer brewer in Iowa, praising it as "bursting with citrus bitterness and flavors of tropical fruit."  Its reviewer also loved Pulpit Rock Brewing's Saftig beer, calling it, "a decidedly thick, creamy mouthfeel, slight haze, and, most of all, tropical and citrus notes."
