Three people arrested following investigation into numerous burglaries

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says it has charged three people in connection with multiple burglaries in Winneshiek, Howard and Fillmore counties.

18-year-old Anthony Shea of Cresco, Iowa and two juveniles from Cresco have been charged with felony burglary in the third degree.  Shea has been arrested and is currently in jail. The juveniles have been referred to Juvenile Court Services.

The arrests followed an Easter weekend investigation which involved the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office, Fillmore County Sheriff's Office, Howard County Sheriff's Office and La Crosse Police Department. 

They investigated multiple burglaries that have occurred along the Iowa and Minnesota border.
