Finances of family caregiving class offered at Winneshiek County Extension Office

If you're a caregiver for someone in your family, you know that financial
matters are part of your responsibilities.

The Winneshiek County Extension Office will be offering a five-week class
starting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on financial information for family
caregivers. The class will discuss how to gather essential information,
wills, living wills and durable Power of Attorney for health care and
financial matters. Other topics include retirement plans, ways to continue
tax-deferred savings while caregiving, and options for paying for care.

The class will meet for five consecutive Tuesdays at the Winneshiek County
Extension and Outreach office at 325 Washington Street in Decorah.
Preregistration is required by the end of the office hours on Monday. The
