Decorah Middle School Principal Leona Hoth will retire at the end of this school year.
Hoth made the announcement to staff members on Tuesday. She has been principal at Decorah Middle School since 2005. In both 2008 and 2009 the Keystone AEA named her "Middle School Principal of the Year."
The search for a replacement is expected to begin immediately.
