City Yard Waste Site to open officially on Saturday, April 15th

Have patience, area gardeners!  The Decorah Street Department says it will be officially opening the Yard Waste Site on Trout Run Road on Saturday, April 15th.

The site will have the same hours as last year--1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and 8:00 a.m. until noon Saturdays.

But there will be one change this year that gardeners should be happy about: the Street Department says it will deliver a load of wood chips to houses within the city limits as time allows.

In addition to that service, there will also be a free loading day on Friday, May 12th, when city crews will be on hand to dump wood chips and other materials into truck beds and other containers.
