Students at West Side Early Childhood Center have been celebrating Reading Month.

This year's theme involves all things Dr. Seuss.  Events have included weekly guest readers such as Winneshiek County Sheriff Dan Marx, Decorah Police Officer Scott Herrmann, West Side Principal Rick Varney and several Luther student athletes.

Students also enjoyed "Drop Everything and Read" Days, complete with stuffed animals and fun themes. Other activities included field trips to the public library and to a play at Luther College, and a "Breakfast and Books" family event with Green Eggs and Ham.
