New Minowa Players accepting applications for scholarships

Decorah's community theater group, The New Minowa Players, is announcing that it is accepting applications for this year's New Minowa Players Scholarship.  38 scholarships have been awarded by the group in the past 26. Last year's scholarship recipients were Anna Townswick of Decorah High School and Kacy Ourada of Turkey Valley High.

The scholarship(s) will be presented to a member of an area school who has shown an interest in some area of drama and intends to pursue that involvement at an accredited college or vocational school.
 
Application forms for the $200 Scholarship may be obtained from the NMP website, www.newminowaplayers.org,  or by emailing dleeb70@hotmail.com.
Applications must be submitted for review by the Selection Committee no later than May 1st.
