A gallery featuring the black and white sequential photographs taken by Decorah resident Bob Modersohn goes on display starting Wednesday in Luther College's Preus Library.
A reception for Modersohn will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12th, in the Hovde Room of Preus Library. Both the gallery and reception are free and open to the public.
The exhibit features 11 black and white photo sequences taken by Modersohn during the 1970s and 1980s for The Des Moines Register.
Modersohn is a freelance photographer based in Lansing. In addition to working for many years as a photographer at the Register, Modersohn has written and photographed stories for Living the Country Life magazine, Luther College, Chicago Tribune Sunday Travel and decorahnews.com.
