Decorah bald eagle egg hatch watch has started

Raptor Resource Project volunteers say they expect the first eagle's egg hatch of the season to happen this week--perhaps on Thursday.

"Hatch Watch" has begun at both the Decorah North nest and the original Decorah nest.

Says Raptor Resource, "We'll be looking for egg movements and listening for vocalizations between parents and hatching eaglets as we wait for eaglets to arrive."
