Calmar resident wins the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce scholarship raffle

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce has awarded a $4,900 scholarship prize to Kory Hageman of Calmar.

The prize was designed to be transferable to one individual for use at any college they choose in Iowa to pay expenses towards an AA, Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree.

The Hagemans have a daughter in the NICC nursing program, noted DACC Executive Director Kristina Wiltgen, "so the scholarship will be put to immediate use."
