Decorah Police say St. Patrick's Day Special Traffic Enforcement Program yielded results

The Decorah Police Department is reporting on the results of its "Special Traffic Enforcement Program" leading up to the St. Patrick's Day holiday.

Police made one arrest for drunk driving and another for texting while driving.  Seven speeding tickets were issued and 12 warnings given for equipment violations.

Two drivers were ticketed for Driving with a Revoked or Suspended license and four car accidents were investigated.

The four-day STEP ran from Wednesday, March 15th through Saturday, March 18th.
