20 Division I ratings at State for Decorah HS speech students

The Decorah HS individual speech team received 17 division one ratings and the DHS 9th Team received 3 division one ratings at the State Individual Speech Contest hosted by Waldorf University in Forest City on Saturday.

Individuals receiving division one ratings and receiving nominations as outstanding performers from at least two of the three judges will be listed on the All-State Individual Speech announcement, posted late Monday afternoon on the Iowa High School Speech Association website (http://www.ihssa.org/ie_all_state_nominations.html).

The students are coached by Molly Holkesvik, Carrie Kauffman, Gabe Twedt, and Kristen Underwood.
