State Senator Michael Breitbach says he is receiving over 1,000 e-mails some days

State Senator Michael Breitbach has been spending a lot of time lately reading e-mails.

He tells constituents in his latest newsletter, "Some of you may have contacted me at my legislative email and may have not received a reply or not received one as fast as I would like.  Much of the legislation the past couple of weeks has generated a lot of interest.  Some days I have been receiving over 1,000 emails both in support and against some issues.  While I would like to answer each one individually there are days that my work load prevents me from getting to all of them and I apologize if your email has been overlooked."

However, Breitbach is encouraging people to continue to share their opinions with him by e-mailing Michael.Breitbach@legis.iowa.gov.  He is also holding a forum at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at the Farm Bureau building in Waukon.
