CFS students make handmade cards for hospital patients

Posted: Wed, Mar 8, 2017 2:19 PM

Kindergarten through eighth grade students at CFS Catholic School have created hand-made cards to share with patients who receive care at Winneshiek Medical Center.

The project was part of Catholic Schools Week.  Students also made thank-you cards for WMC Foundation donors in appreciation of their financial support.

Older students helped younger students with the service project, which completed approximately 500 hand-made cards.

This is the second year CFS and the WMC Foundation have partnered to serve others. Last year, the students spent the afternoon tying 70 fleece blankets for pediatric patients at WMC.
