According to Maura Warner, Communications Coordinator of Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, local Girl Scouts will be celebrating with Girl Scout Sunday. This gives girls an opportunity to attend their place of worship and be recognized as a Girl Scout.
Local Girl Scouts will be also having a "birthday" celebration for their organization at the roller skating rink, Jewels, as the Girl Scout organization turns 105 this year.
