Two new attorneys hired by Decorah law firm

Two new attorneys have started their practice at Miller, Pearson, Gloe, Burns, Beatty & Parrish in Decorah.

Thais Ann Folta, a Cresco resident, is licensed to practice in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Indiana.  She is a graduate of Indiana University and a member of the Winneshiek County and Iowa State Bar Associations.  Thais recently returned to Northeast Iowa after having worked for the Missouri Attorney General.  She grew up on a farm north of Cresco and lives there currently with her husband, George, a retired United States Marine.  She will be working in the general practice of law, including environmental law,  probate, civil litigation and family law.

Dana DeSimone, a Decorah resident, is licensed to practice in Iowa and Nebraska.  She is a graduate of Creighton University School of Law.  While in law school, she worked at the Nebraska Office of the Attorney General and the Douglas County Attorney's Office.  She is a member of the Winneshiek County, Iowa State, Nebraska State, and American Bar Associations.  Dana grew up in Denver, Colorado and currently lives in Decorah with her family.  She will be working in the general practice of law, including criminal law, family law and taxation.
