DMS and DHS student athletes perform well at District Special Olympics

Decorah High School and Decorah Middle School athletes competed in District Special Olympics at the UNI Dome on Sunday, March 5.

Eighteen students finished in first place, six finished in second place, and four finished in third place.

Special Olympic coaches are Michelle Nesteby and Michelle Monreal. State Special Olympics will take place in May at ISU campus in Ames.
