Thursday night's and Friday morning's blizzard affected areas to the north and the west more than it did Winneshiek County.
The La Crosse Office of the National Weather Service has cancelled its blizzard warning for Northeast Iowa--which had been in effect through 6:00 a.m. Saturday.
Now the Weather Service says Friday night will bring a mix of light snow, rain and even freezing rain, switching to all snow through the evening. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches is expected, along with a light glaze of ice.
Roads are likely to become snow covered and slick through the evening as snow returns, so caution is still advised when driving.
