Entries sought for 2017 Winneshiek County coloring book

The Winneshiek County Convention & Visitors Bureau is inviting children and teenagers, ages 2-17, to submit entries for the 2017 "Kids Are Tourists Too" coloring book.

The WCCVB is looking for coloring book pages showing a favorite tourism experience in the county.  Young artists will receive $10 if their coloring book page is selected to use in the book. The deadline to submit entries is Friday, March 24th.

Last year's award winning entries included drawings of Ft. Atkinson Rendezvous Days, Calmar Bank, Beyond the Bar, Dunning Springs, Decorah Eagles, Tic Tac Toe, Pinter's Pumpkin Patch, camping, ice cream, and Spillville's 4th of July Fireworks.

Copies of the 2017 coloring book will be available at the Visitor Center at 507 West Water Street in Decorah after June 1st or will be available online at www.visitdecorah.com this summer.
