Here's a map of Winneshiek County roads that have had weight restrictions imposed

Weight restrictions have gone up on a number of Winneshiek County roads.

The Winneshiek County Road Department says weight restrictions of 7 tons per axle have gone into effect on the roads due to the effects this spring-like weather has been having.  Says the department, "Due to the exceptionally warm weather and duration of it, the paved system is now showing signs of distress."
