Casey's earns permission to replace its College Drive building

Casey's General Stores has won permission from the Decorah City Council for a site plan that calls for the business to tear down its existing building on College Drive and replace it with a new building.

The approval included three variances granted by the city's Board of Adjustment that will slightly change the location of the building.  However, the gas tanks and awning will stay where they are.  Company officials say the gas tanks will remain open during construction.
