The five members of the Decorah Telecommunications Utility Board met Tuesday evening to continue their work on a study of the feasibility of starting a municipal communications utility in Decorah.
The board received proposals from nine companies willing to take on the task of doing the feasibility study this spring. Board members will work Tuesday night to try to figure out which companies to invite to give oral presentations about their services.
The board's timeline calls for a contractor to be hired by the Decorah City Council on April 3rd and for the feasibility study to be completed by the end of July.
