Winneshiek Medical Center announces "Star of the Year"

Winneshiek Medical Center Medical-Surgical Department Registered Nurse Bev Rustad has been awarded the hospital's "2016 Star of the Year Award."

Rustad has worked in Med-Surg at WMC since 1989.  She was given the award, say hospital officials, "because of her dedication to providing quality health care and her commitment to her co-workers." Winneshiek Medical Center Chief Administrative Officer Lisa Radtke says, "Bev cares about fellow colleagues in the department, and takes steps to ensure they are satisfied in their job as well as have time to spend with their families."
