A Decorah chef takes second place in an Iowa Pork Producers food contest

The Iowa Pork Producers Association is announcing that a Decorah man has taken second place in its "Taste of Elegance" competition.

The cooking contest is aimed at encouraging top chefs in Iowa to include pork on their menus.

This year, the pork producers asked all the participants to use pork tenderloin in their recipe.

Second place went to Justin Scardina with the Norse Culinary Team at Luther College in Decorah.
