Oelwein woman has now has additional charges filed against her for allegedly stabbing someone in Winneshiek County

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department says additional charges have been filed against 32-year-old Jade McAllister of Oelwein.

She was arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on Monday on charges of second offense operating while under the influence 2nd offense, driving while license suspended, possession of controlled substance (meth), and possession of controlled substance.

The Sheriff's Office received additional information Tuesday morning that McAllister had been involved in a stabbing incident in Winneshiek County.

That led to a further investigation.  A search warrant was served, then McAllister was charged with Class D Felony Willful Injury and Aggravated Misdemeanor Domestic Abuse Assault.  She remains in the Winneshiek County Jail on $13,000 cash bond.

The name of the stabbing victim has not been released.
