Three Midwest Group Benefits agents are recognized by the federal government

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services is recognizing three Decorah insurance agents.  Nikki Thompson, Peggy Lensing and Brian Huinker work at Midwest Group Benefits in Decorah.

The three have been recognized for enrolling over 750 people in the Health Insurance Marketplace.  The three worked to help people enroll in the Health Insurnce Marketplace through the healthcare.gov website.

Huinker said the more than $5 million in tax credits for those who enrolled "will have a positive impact on our local businesses."

He says it wasn't unusual for Midwest Group Benefits to have 20 Marketplace enrollments in one day.
