It's Opening Night Wednesday for Toppling Goliath at Chicago's Field Museum

Toppling Goliath beers will be sold in Chicago starting Wednesday night.

The Decorah microbrewery has joined forces with the Field Museum in Chicago, which will become the only location in Illinois where Topping Goliath beers will be available.

The partnership came about because of Toppling Goliath's "Pseudo Sue" beer, which uses an image of the Tyrannosaurus Rex "Sue," which is displayed at The Field Museum.

The agreement with the Field Museum not only calls for Toppling Goliath beers to be sold at the museum, but for Toppling Goliath to brew a new beer that will be sold exclusively at the Field Museum.

Wednesday night the Field Museum will hold a public "Hop To It" event, with tickets $35 for Field Museum members and $40 for non-members.  It will mark the first time a Toppling Goliath beer has been sold in the Chicago area.
