Auditions for New Minowa Player's spring show on Thursday

Auditions for New Minowa Players'  spring show, "The Love Song of J. Robert Oppenheimer," will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9th, at the New Minowa Players theatre at 906 South Mill Street in Decorah.

All interested adult actors are invited to audition. Please bring a prepared monologue of approximately one minute and dress appropriately for movement. It is also important to bring a list of personal and professional conflicts between audition date and production dates of April 6th through April 9th.
 
"The Love Song of J. Robert Oppenheimer" is a dramatic biographical piece about the "father of the atomic bomb." The play explores questions of faith, conscience and the consequences of the never-ending pursuit of knowledge, following Oppenheimer's journey from the research, to the deployment, to the aftermath of the atomic bomb.
