Forty 4-H youth, parents, and staff members from Allamakee and Winneshiek Counties recently had the opportunity to learn more about Iowa's court system by talking with one of Iowa's judges.

District 1A Judge Margaret Lindgren has been on the bench since 1991.  Her speech to the 4-Hers covered a number of points, including how judges are appointed, the duties of a judge, and the duties of jurors. She concluded her presentation with an activity involving the audience called, "Judge for Yourself."
