Decorah Police Department responds to an accident on Ridge Road

The Decorah Police Department received a call about a single vehicle accident at 708 Ridge Road in Decorah on Sunday morning, January 8th.

When the officer arrived at the scene at 6:54 a.m. he found a Lincoln pickup truck in the middle of the street with no one present. The truck appeared to have struck a tree and a mailbox post, and the truck's airbags were deployed.

Another officer was dispatched to the registered owner's address where he made contact with the vehicle's owner (Tom Bulman) and the vehicle's driver (Spencer Bulman).

Bulman's truck sustained $15,000 in damages and there was $150 in damages to the mailbox post.
