Two Decorah High School Vocalists Shine at Dorian Vocal Festival

Two Decorah high school students performed well at the 2017 Luther College Dorian Vocal Festival.

1,100 high school juniors and seniors from nearly 250 schools from across the Midwest participated in the 2017 Dorian Vocal Festival. Each year the Festival includes a solo competition to select individuals to perform in the grand concert.

Senior Morgan Minear, daughter of Jeff and Joan Minear, advanced to the semi-final round of the solo competition. Junior Abby Trewin, daughter of Pat and Karen Trewin, was one of five selected to perform in the Festival grand concert. Abby performed the aria "Voi che sapete" from Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro.
