Postville man arrested for allegedly trying to return stolen merchandise to Walmart for cash

40-year-old Mark Schroeder of Postville has been arrested on two counts of fifth degree theft.

Decorah Police say Walmart staffers contacted them about the return of stolen merchandise to their Decorah store.  After an investigation, police arrested Schroeder, accusing him of trying to get cash for merchandise he had stolen from Walmart.
