State Senator Michael Breitbach elected to leadership posts in the legislature

It will be a busy legislative session for State Senator Mike Breitbach of Strawberry Point.

The local state senator has been elected an Assistant Majority Leader in the State Senate.  In addition to that responsibility, he has been appointed chair of the Senate's Government Oversight Committee and vice chair of the Senate's Transportation and Commerce Committee.  He has also been named vice chair of the Economic Development Budget Subcommittee.

Finally, Breitbach will serve as a committee member of Natural Resources, Ways and Means, and Labor and Business Relations committees.
