Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce will award scholarships to ag students

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce has scholarship applications available for high school seniors attending school in Winneshiek County and NICC agriculture students.  

The $350 scholarship will be awarded to students that show a passion for agriculture, the community and learning. High school applicants must plan to study agriculture in their post high school education.  NICC applicants must be currently enrolled in an agriculture program. One high school and one NICC scholarship will be awarded. 

Applications are available at www.decorahareachamber.com/agriculture, at the Chamber office at 507 West Water Street in Decorah or by calling 563-382-3990.  The deadline for applications is 5:00 p.m. February 24th.

Winners will be notified in advance, with award recognition to take place at the 15th Annual Ag Appreciation Luncheon on March 15th.
