Decorah coffee shop plans to give away free coffee Friday

The only thing better than hearing the word "coffee" is hearing the words "free coffee."

Java John's in Decorah is closed Monday and Tuesday to repaint the interior of their business.

Owner Doug Reid says this Friday they will give away free coffee all day.  "Why are we giving away coffee?" he asks, then replies, "To celebrate our fresh new paint job; because it has been just so dang cold; And… well… it just seems like a good idea to give stuff away on Friday the 13th."
