Travel bloggers are spreading the word about Winneshiek County

One way the Winneshiek County Convention & Visitors Bureau is spreading the word about this area's attractions is by inviting travel bloggers to visit Decorah.

Beerpulse.com founder Adam Nason is one of the writers invited to visit Winneshiek County.  During a three-day visit to the area last week, Nason visited the Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. production facility, the Toppling Goliath pub and the Pulpit Rock Brewing Co., then joined Calmar's Craig and Sara Neuzill, who are slated to open Winneshiek County's third brew pub in 2017, for a beer sampling at their home.

"Working with travel bloggers is one component of the CVB's aggressive tourism marketing plan," explained WCCVB Executive Director Charlene Selbee.

WCCVB also hosted Iowa Gallivant blogger JayJay Goodvin last week.
