A Ridgeway man was arrested at his home on burglary charges Thursday morning.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department says two search warrants were served, resulting in the arrest of 22-year-old Ron Harrison of Ridgeway. Deputies found several stolen firearms as well as several others items from past burglaries.
Harrison has been charged with third degree felony burglary and with aggravated misdemeanor possession of stolen property. He was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.
The Sheriff's Department says Harrison's arrest was the result of a lengthy investigation--and that the case still remains under investigation.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Decorah Police, Iowa State Patrol, the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office and the Winneshiek County Ambulance.
