It's official. Three Winneshiek County supervisors and two Winneshiek County department heads--all of whom ran for re-election in November and won--were sworn into office for another term Tuesday afternoon.
Judge Margaret Lingreen administered the oath of office for supervisors John Logdon, Dean Thompson and Mark Kuhn and for County Auditor Ben Steines and County Sheriff Dan Marx.
The terms of other Winneshiek County elected officials did not come up during the November election.
Logsdon, who serves as chair of the county board, praised the current crew at the Courthouse, saying the right people are in place and the county is making headway on tackling long-term planning to make the county a better place.
