DMS Eighth Grader Earns Spot in Premier All Iowa Honor Band

Decorah middle schooler Peter Wilson has been chosen to play in the 8th grade All Iowa Honor Band.
Peter will be performing at the Iowa Bandmasters Association's Conference in Des Moines on May 11, 2017. Peter is an euphonium player in the 8th grade band at Decorah Middle School. He also participates in chorus, basketball, and Lego League.
Peter auditioned for this spot in the All Iowa Honor Band at the NEIBA's Middle School Honor Band. This Honor Band is considered the "All-State" band for middle school students as the 132 piece band is composed of all the best players in Iowa coming together to perform as one band.
